EXTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS

A. All loose and peeling paint will be thoroughly scraped and the substrate bare wood surface will be primed first before applying finish paint.

B. Any old paint on glass window panes will be removed with a razor blade.

C. Loose putty will be removed from window spars and new putty will be re-applied as necessary.

D. Window and door frames and any other area that is necessary will be caulked.

E. All rusted areas, such as wrought iron, gutters, etc. will be wire brushed and a primer-sealer will be applied to prevent future rusting.

F. Drop cloths will be placed on all foliage around the house. Vines, if any, will be neatly cut back where it is necessary to apply paint.

G. All baked enamel gutters and down spouts, shutters and varnish doors will be excluded unless otherwise stated on proposal.

H. After thorough preparation one coat of Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore’s quality exterior overcoat will be applied.

OPTIONAL WORK

We have offered the following optional and additional exterior services for many of our customer

A. We offer full care of our customers deck surfaces including pressure washing and clear sealing/staining of their decks.

B. We also offer full service wood stripping and refinishing of wood surfaces.

C. We offer necessary tuck pointing of brick homes.

D. In addition, our partner business, McCann Carpentry and Construction, offers full carpentry services including basement, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, deck construction and repair, exterior fascia repairs, door installation, closet organizers and many other carpentry services.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Unless otherwise stated, a payment of one-third with the signed yellow copy of the proposal must be returned to schedule a painting job.
